About this policy

This policy explains how MaeYou Dev ("we") handles information on this website (maeyoudev.com) and in our apps CropCast, OmniSwitch and ClockBoard (Mac and Windows versions, the "Apps").

Personal information

The Apps do not collect personal information such as your name or email address. They do not collect or send usage analytics or advertising data.

Information that stays on your device

The Apps' settings and logs are stored only on your computer and are never sent to us. When an app such as CropCast uses Screen Recording or Accessibility permission, your screen content is processed only on your computer and is never sent anywhere.

Microsoft Store versions (Windows)

Apps obtained from the Microsoft Store communicate with the Microsoft Store for trials, purchases, license checks and update checks. The Microsoft Privacy Statement applies to the information handled in these communications. We do not receive personally identifiable information from them.

Mac versions

Purchases and payments for the Mac versions are handled by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy. The name, email address and payment details you enter at checkout are handled under Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy, and we never receive your card details. When you activate a license key, the app sends the key and your computer's name to Lemon Squeezy. The app also connects to our server (maeyoudev.com) to check for updates.

Ratings and reviews

Only if you submit a rating or review from an app, we store the rating, title, text and display name you entered, along with the app and OS version, on our server and show them on this website. Your license key is used to confirm the purchase, but the key itself is not stored. Reviews may be translated into other languages with a translation service (Microsoft Azure Translator).

This website

This website is served by Cloudflare, which processes access information such as IP addresses to deliver it securely. This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Sharing with third parties

We do not share or sell your information to third parties, except where required by law.
